dear ms. dunn, One book that i have enjoyed very much is The Secret Life Of Bees, if you have not already read it ( which may be unlikely because it is so popular to readers) it would be a nice book to curl up and read over the summer, it is a thrilling adventure with comedy and drama, as a simple 14 year old girl seeks to find all thruth about her mother. unfortunately, both of the copies of it are checked out in the arundel liabrary, but i'm sure you coule find another one somewhere. sincerely, book lover

mrs.dunn, fairest by gail carson levene is a great book. it's about a girl who was adopted by innkeepers and is very ugly. she goes to the castle with the duchess, who is a frequent customer at the inn, for a wedding. she then falls power to the evil queen ivi who calls herself aza's friend. (aza is the main character) Read this book!!!!!! It rox!
The Gilda Joyce series is really good the 1st one is called Gida Joyce, psychic investagator second: The Ladies of the lake third (and the best) The Ghost Sonata. They are about a girl who solves mysteries about ghosts, read them!!!! they're awsome!!!!! -maggie e.
Thanks for all of the suggestions. I finished The Mysterious Benedict Society and really enjoyed it. I also finished Scat by Carl Hiaason (he also wrote Hoot and Flush). If you enjoy adventures that usually include and few animals and a kid doing something they really shouldn't...you will like Hiaason's books!
I think a really good book is the Underneeth this book is about a cat who finds a dog in the midle of the woods that is chained to a old house where a mean man lives this man is the owner of the dog and shot the dog in the legthe rest is realy interesting i think you should read it....

I read The Alchemyst by Michael Scott. it was one of the the best books i have ever read!! It had lots of adventure and magic in the book. I think anybody who likes fantasy will enjoy this book!!
